VENDOR REGULATIONS—Please Read Carefully

Vendor Parking

·        Until 7:30 AM (temporarily for unloading during set-up) and after 2PM (for tear-down), vendors may access their spaces, by temporarily using the Fire Station apron, driving behind the Fire Station, or parking along Route 25B—Watch for “No Parking” signs.  Do not attempt to access a vendor space from Chase Circle (a side street off 25B) by driving across private property.

·        After unloading, all vendors (except those in “E” spaces) must move their vehicles to our parking area to the southwest of the church building.  A parking monitor will assist vendors there.

·       During 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, NO PARKING in these areas: 1. At the post office or fire station (front, side, or back). 2. In streets alongside of, or in front of, the vending area (except E space vendors may use one space by their area on Main Street.) Watch for no parking signs. 3. On any grass area, except grass area west of the church.     

 

Important Information

·        Irrigation and communication lines have been installed on the town grounds. VENDORS MUST NOT DRIVE ANY STAKES INTO THE GROUND DEEPEER THAN 6 INCHES. You will be held responsible for damage to underground lines.

·        Raffles and the selling of hazardous items are not allowed.

·        All vendors must provide their own chairs.

·        Vendors should be sure to bring their own change.

·        Tables inside the firehouse will be available for set-up at 6:30 AM (not before, please). Due to space limitations, only the table surface and underneath may be used for display.

·        Outside lawn spaces will be available for set-up at sunrise and vendors must provide their own tables. Please prepare for inclement weather with a canopy or tarps.

·        Vendors should be prepared for customers by 7:45 AM. If you don’t arrive by 7:30, your space(s) may be offered to others.

·        Vendors must contain their merchandise, boxes, etc., to the marked off spaces they have reserved, or, if indoors, to the tables they have reserved and the space below them. Please do not “spread out” into the aisles.

·        Vendors must not pack up their merchandise or leave before 2:00 PM, in fairness to other vendors, who are still trying to sell their merchandise. Vendors who cannot commit to the full time frame of the event should not register.

·        Spaces must be cleaned and vacated by 3:30PM. Do not leave unsold items.

·        Food and lodging information for vendors is available upon request.

 

 

 

RESERVATIONS & PRICES

Reservations and Payment Procedures

·        Previous Vendors, by invitation, will have first choice for their previous space(s). A $5 per space non-refundable deposit (or the full Total Space Fee if preferred) is due for previous spaces by December 20, 2007. If a different space is preferred, it may be reserved if available. The deposit goes towards the Total Space Fee and the Balance is due by April 30, 2008—see Price Schedule below.

·        New Vendors may reserve spaces starting December 20, 2007, with a $10 per space non-refundable deposit (or the full Total Space Fee if preferred). The deposit goes towards the Total Space Fee and the Balance is due by April 30, 2008—see Price Schedule below.

·        New Vendors may reserve spaces after April 30 with Total Space Fee paid in full—see Price Schedule below.

·        Reservation Forms & Checks: Send forms with checks made out to “Center Harbor Congregational Church, UCC” to the above address.

·        A letter of receipt will be mailed to registered vendors--BRING THE RECEIPT for proof of your space registration.

·       Cancellation policy:

§        Vendors who cancel their reservation before May 1, 2008 will receive a refund less the non-refundable deposit.

§        Vendors who cancel their reservation after May 1, 2008 will receive a refund less the non-refundable deposit if the space(s) is/are sold to another vendor.

§       Any cancellations after May 1 which are not sold to another vendor will not receive a refund.
