 | | Boards, Officers, and Standing Committees - Officers
The Officers help maintain the church records, property, membership, and the activities of the congregation.
- Cabinet
The Church Cabinet is the representative body of the church and serves in an executive capacity. Representing all officers, boards, and members, the Church Cabinet works for the common good of the church membership. In accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws, it has general supervision of church affairs.
- Board of Deacons
This board is responsible for all matters relating to the spiritual welfare of the church with special concern for Christian enrichment and membership development. - Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees, acting on behalf of this church, oversees and maintains the church property and has charge of its financial and business affairs. - Board of Christian Education
The Board of Christian Education enables all persons to be aware of God, especially God's redeeming love as revealed in Jesus Christ, nurtures each person's faith as they seek and respond to God's call in thought, word and deed, and extends the ministry of Jesus Christ by witnessing to the Gospel in church and society. - Board of Christian Mission
The Christian mission of this church is the work of the members as they reach out to the community, the nation and the world. Informed by the teachings and actions of Jesus, the Board of Christian Mission educates, advocates, coordinates and guides the boards, committees and members in carrying out this church's mission.
Standing Committees - Nominating Committee
- This committee recruits and nominates church members to serve this church in elected positions.
- Auditing Committee
- The auditors examine for accuracy and completeness the financial records of this church. The results are reported in the Annual Report for that year.
- Pastoral Relations Committee
This committee serves as an intermediary to improve pastor/people relations, thereby strengthening the effectiveness of this church's spiritual life and mission.
Delegates to the NH Conference, UCC Annual Meeting These people attend the annual meeting at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire in June. They report back to our congregation.
