Community Programs

Soup Kitchen

The Center Harbor Soup Kitchen (CHSK) is a community-operated non-profit organization that provides meals in a safe and caring environment, free of charge.  We do not discriminate or evaluate based on level of need as there are several people who come for the social contact of a meal with others.  Currently, during the pandemic, meals are available for pickup each Tuesday evening behind Gilpatric Hall from  5:30 - 6:30 pm.  Those requesting meals are asked to call ahead so that volunteers can anticipate numbers.  Meals can be reserved by calling 508-523-9288.  Instructions for meal pickup while maintaining social distancing will be provided at that time.

The CHSK normally requires 4-5 volunteers per week to distribute meals. Please contact Michelle Taft at 508-523-9288 if you would like to volunteer to help serve.

Store to door- Grocery Delivery

To help Center Harbor and Moultonborough residents who have difficulty getting groceries, short term or long term, Center Harbor Congregational Church volunteers deliver groceries weekly at no charge. Orders are placed directly with E.M. Heath's Market and payment is made to the store by the client. For more information contact Sally Lyon at 603-253-1147
